I am the business development consultant for a client in London NW10 and I need to place:

During the restructuring of the business which is a major brand in the hair fashion industry, we are developing a series of web 2.0 websites and Transactional platforms. We intend to compliment the launch of the new websites (September) with a small team of Social media and customer services experts.

I will be promoting this position via the social networks. (No agencies please).

Help needed Upgrading from Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 to CS5

Hi All

Can anyone advise me regarding upgrading from Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 to CS5 please.

Adobe CS3 has served me well but now I need to utilize SFTP and CS3 is not good for this so my questions are:

1. I think CS5 has the SFTP functionality built in out of the box? Am I correct?
2. Downloading the CS5 upgrade from the adobe site overwrites CS3 without the need to un install cs3 first?
3. Are there any issues I should be aware of?
4. Are there any precautions I should take?

Thanks a million for any help or advice anyone can offer.

Is Social Media a Great Big Waste of Time?

Yes!

No,

Well maybe!

It really depends what you do with it.

If you are into social media just for fun, you probably have a twitter or Facebook account or possibly both.
If you are doing Social Media just for fun that' great.

However, practically everyone I know who is into social media is in it for business development and or personal brand building, therefore they generally have accounts with at least Ecademy, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube and Facebook. Many (like me) have accounts with over 100 social platforms.

Admittedly I only really participate in Ecademy, Twitter and a bit of YouTube.

But why do we do it? and is it a great big waste of our time? I know that there are stalwarts on both sides of the argument and those who know me well know that I do like and benefit from social media.

Computer Keyboards and Numb Fingers

Hi Everyone - I hope you are well...

I spend more time at the keyboard than the average bear and on occasion my fingers actually start to buzz..

I use a Microsoft ergonomic keyboard and although I love the layout, the keys feel really harsh - and I am in fear of RSI or some other nasty ailment..

Does any one else suffer from this ?

Can anyone suggest and alternative keyboard with nice soft keys, to protect my pinkeys ?

I would be very grateful for any and all suggestions...

I started up outlook and began working through my emails and replying to the essential stuff, and as always I got hooked on following links to my favorite writers and blogs etc.

Nothing strange there you may think, but the problem is that if I am not really disciplined I could spend the whole day following lonks from emails and reading stuff.

Great when you have time, but time is a precious commodity today..

Then I followed a link to Seth’s Blog and as usual he is talking great sense right on subject.
